PAP 558 - Clinical Medicine III
This is the third course in a sequence of three courses designed to teach the essentials of clinical medicine. Disorders are presented by organ system and specialty. PA students will use a problem-oriented approach to understanding the etiology, epidemiology, relevant pathology and pathophysiology, manifestations, laboratory and diagnostic studies, and diagnosis and treatment of specific diseases encountered in general practice. This course builds on content presented in PAP 518 and PAP 538 . It continues with the presentation of the following systems: gastroenterology and nutrition, genitourinary, orthopedics and rheumatology, and neurology. Summer
