PAP 538 - Clinical Medicine II This is the second course in a sequence of three courses designed to teach the essentials of clinical medicine. Disorders are presented by organ system and specialty. PA students will use a problem-oriented approach to understanding the etiology, epidemiology, relevant pathology and pathophysiology, manifestations, laboratory and diagnostic studies, and diagnosis and treatment of specific diseases encountered in general practice. This course builds content presented in PAP 518 -Clinical Medicine I and continues with the presentation of the following systems: ophthalmology, and otolaryngology (EENT), cardiovascular (including ECG), pulmonary, nephrology/renal, and endocrinology.
