NUR 496 - Transition to Practice Clinical and Seminar

Prerequisite(s): NUR 325 , NUR 330 , NUR 332 , NUR 334 , NUR 336 , NUR 340 , NUR 435 , NUR 440 , and NUR 450 all with minimum grade of C-/1.7.
Building on knowledge learned in previous courses and knowledge learned in concurrent nursing courses, students engage in an intense clinical practicum experience in a selected setting in order to promote transition into practice and development of leadership skills. Students will also participate in scheduled seminars related to topics associated with transition to practice; and personal, professional and leadership development. This culminating clinical experience is designed for students to apply knowledge gained across the curriculum within a selected clinical setting. When Offered: Spring.
