NUR 340 - Competencies for Chronic Disease Management


Prerequisite(s): NUR 325  and NUR 330   both with minimum grade C-/1.7. 
Building on previous knowledge, this course promotes the development of competencies associated with chronic disease management across the lifespan. The focus is on the care of the individual. This course has a clinical component and a lab component to promote the application of concepts learned in the course to adults. This course will also develop professional nursing competencies related to knowledge for nursing practice, person-centered care, quality and safety, systems based practice, inter-professional partnerships, professionalism, and personal, professional, and leadership development.
