NUR 450 - Competencies for Mental Health Management


Prerequisite(s): NUR 325  , NUR 330  , both with minimum grade C/2.0; and PSY 320  .
Building on previous knowledge, this course promotes the development of competencies associated with mental health management. The focus is on the care of the individual and aggregates. This course has a clinical component to promote the application of concepts learned in the course. This course will also develop professional nursing competencies related to knowledge for nursing practice, person-centered care, quality and safety, Interprofessional partnerships, systems-based practice, and professionalism.  When Offered: Fall.
