NUR 484 - Concepts and Competencies for Population Health


Prerequisite(s): NUR 325   , NUR 330   , NUR 332   , NUR 334   , NUR 336   , NUR 340   , NUR 435  , NUR 440  , and NUR 450   all with minimum grade of C-/1.7.
Building on previous knowledge, this course promotes the development of knowledge associated with global health and health promotion in populations. The focus is on the care of aggregates and populations. This course has a clinical component to promote application of concepts learned in this course and develop professional nursing competencies related to knowledge for nursing practice, person-centered care, population health, systems-based practice, inter-professional partnerships, information and healthcare technologies, and professionalism.
