NUR 476 - Concepts and Competencies for Leadership


Prerequisite(s): NUR 325   , NUR 330   , NUR 332   , NUR 334   , NUR 336   , NUR 340   , NUR 435  , NUR 440  , and NUR 450  , all with minimum grade of C-/1.7.
 Building on previous knowledge, this course promotes the development of competencies associated with leadership and management concepts. The focus is on the development of management and leadership competencies. This course has an experiential learning component to promote application of concepts learned in this course and develop professional nursing competencies related to quality and safety, inter-professional partnerships, scholarship for nursing practice, systems-based practice, information and healthcare technologies, professionalism, and personal, professional, and leadership development.  When Offered: Spring.
