PAP 540 - Research and Evidence-Based Medicine
In this course, students receive instruction in research methods and application in the clinical setting. Students will integrate basic concepts of epidemiology and statistics as these concepts relate to medical practice. Topics include framing research questions, types of sampling methods, use of common databases to access medical literature, and the limits of medical research. The students will search, interpret, and evaluate evidence-based medical literature related to clinical problems encountered in PA practice. Spring
