OCC 503 - Applied Principles of Occupational Therapy Co-requisite: OCC 503L This course introduces the history, philosophy, and core assumptions of occupational therapy and the scope of occupational therapy practice. Students will critically analyze areas of occupation including performance skills, performance patterns, activity demands, context(s), and environments, and cultural aspects that influence individuals’ participation in everyday life in addition to the impact of disability on occupational performance, participation, and well-being.
