FAC 101 - Communication in Context: Express Yourself I
This course develops the multimodal communication skills that students need for academic, civic, and professional success. Students complete two units, Explore and Discover, which emphasize reading, analysis, and information literacy. The course features student-driven learning about a topic of current relevance, real-world problem solving, equity-based grading, and meaningful co-curricular experiences. Note that successful completion of both FAC 101 and FAC 102 satisfies the ENG 131 - English Composition and COM 111 - Public Speaking core requirement.
