SPA 333 - Area Studies

One course at 200-level, or instructor permission. Rotating courses on Mexico and Central America; Spain; the Caribbean; the Andean Countries and the Southern Cone. Courses focus on the regions’ indispensable historical and geographic backgrounds, as well as interesting issues of cultural (religious, environmental, social, political, economic, artistic, etc. ) relevance. In their efforts to explore and understand these issues, students will be in communication with members of the target cultures. When Offered: Odd Fall, Even Spring
