Music Performance Minor

Minor Requirements

A minor in Music Performance requires a minimum of 19 credits consisting of the following:

• MUS 105 - Keyboard Harmony I Hours: 1
• MUS 160 - Fundamentals of Music Theory I Hours: 4
• MUS 165 - Fundamentals of Music Theory II Hours: 3
• MUS 112 - Understanding Concert Music Hours: 3
• MUS 131 - Applied Music-lower Division Hours: 1 (repeat for a total of 4 credits.)
• MUS 151A - A Cappella Choir or MUS 151L - Wind Symphony Hours: 1 (repeat for a total of 4 credits.)
• MUS 214 - Vocal Techniques Hours: 1 (Voice principals only)
