FAC 102 - Communication in Context: Express Yourself II
Prerequisite(s): FAC 101
This course refines the multimodal communication skills that students need for academic, civic, and professional success. Students complete two units, Create and Share, which emphasize writing and speaking in addition to multimodal composition skills. The course features student-driven learning about a topic of current relevance, real-world problem solving, equity-based grading, and meaningful co-curricular experiences. Successful completion of FAC 101 and FAC 102 fulfills the ENG 131 - English Composition and COM 111 - Public Speaking core requirements.
