CSC 360 - Advanced Analytics


Prerequisite(s): CSC 260  
This course introduces students to advanced analytics concepts using Artificial Intelligence (AI) programming and Machine Learning (ML). Topics include fundamental capabilities of intelligent systems and quantitative techniques such as complex linear optimization, networks, time-series, max/min, flows, ratios and linear programming (LP). It also covers the foundational mathematics and theory of decision trees, random forest (RF), entropy, gain theory (GINI), and clustering using various distance measures and techniques. An integrated Development Environment (IDE) is extensively used in this course.  Odd Spring
