SOC 379 - Environment and Society Prerequisite(s): SOC 100 . This course will examine the complex relationships between human society and the natural environment. Students will explore the role of social/political/economic organization in the evolution and definition o environmental problems, as well as how questions of inequality, race, class, ethnicity, gender, globalization power and community are interrelated with the physical environment.
