ENV 470 - Problems in Environmental Science and Policy Prerequisite(s): Senior standing as an Environmental Science and Policy major. This capstone course, required of all Environmental Science and Policy majors, will investigate causes of and solutions to selected environmental problems. The objective of the course is to teach students how to approach and analyze a problem, develop a work plan, and determine what is necessary to successfully implement the plan. Using lecture, discussion, field study, and methods and tools learned in previous courses, students will engage in a research project to investigate and solve environmental and policy problems. The research project will culminate in written and oral presentations. A senior capstone portfolio is also required.
