PHI 216 - Contemporary Moral Problems Prerequisite(s): PHI 116 or permission of instructor. Critical examination of selected contemporary moral problems such as abortion, suicide, euthanasia, capital punishment, hunger and welfare, discrimination, affirmative action, war and violence, etc. The course will consider in-depth relevant philosophical literature from one or more contemporary problems that pose significant ethical dilemmas to individuals and society.
