LAT 312 - Advanced Readings II Prerequisite(s): LAT 311 . The “Quintus” of first-semester Latin becomes the Horace of Roman literature. Groomed by the dynasts of the emerging empire, he composes personal lyrical and satirical poetry while the Augustan revolution swirls on about him. Prose paraphrase smoothes the way before the challenges of formal verse. NOTE: This course are provided only with adequate enrollment demand and are not offered on a regular basis.
