HIS 208 - The Modern Developing World

This course will introduce students to the history of the modern developing world since about 1600. Topics will include the Atlantic World, colonialism, post-colonialism. , global economics, religion, war, and social justice. The regional emphasis will alternate between Africa and Latin America.
