EDU 448 - Math Methods II for Elementary Teachers
Prerequisite(s): EDU 321 and EDU 344
Co-requisite(s): EDU 431
This course develops K-5 teachers’ understanding of data analysis and probability and pedagogy across number, algebra, geometry, and measurement. Aligned with NCSCOS progressions, topics include data collection/representation, line plots, fractional/decimal data, and introductory probability, with emphasis on research-based instruction, assessment design, and differentiation. When Offered: Fall. Minimum grade of “B-” required for education majors.
