EDU 270L - Early Literacy Lab

Co-requisite(s): EDU 270 .
This field-based course emphasizes the application of the knowledge and skills acquired in the Early Literacy course. Teacher candidates develop and implement instructional plans with oral language, phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, and concepts of print components using the principles of Structured Literacy. Strategies for using assessment data to differentiate instruction for diverse learners and design instructional interventions are practiced. When Offered: Spring, Summer. Minimum grade “B-” required for education majors.
