MUS 474 - Church Music Leadership


Prerequisite(s): MUS 270   and MUS 272  , or permission of instructor.
This course focuses on the multiple roles of the church musician. Topics include worship style and instruments used to accompany congregational song.  Attention is also given to professional topics, including vocational development, church-staff relationships, the politics of music-making, guidelines for part-time and full-time employment, and networking.   When Offered: Odd Spring.
