BEARS CLUB The Bears Club is the official fundraising arm of Lenoir-Rhyne University Athletics. Founded in 1946, the Bears Club coordinates the annual athletic fundraising, capital and endowment gifts for Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics. The purpose of the Bears Club is to support athletic scholarships and program costs for Lenoir-Rhyne’s 22 men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletic teams.

The Healthcare Administration Minor is designed for students who want to work in the healthcare field, but find that their interest and talents lend to greater success in business and operations. A minor in Healthcare Administration requires 24-25 hours consisting of the following:

Minor Requirements

BUS 345 - Human Resource Management Hours: 3 (prerequisite waived for HCA minors only)
or
BUS 383 - Special Topics in Business Hours: 1-6 (Course topic: Human Resources in Healthcare Hours: 3)
BUS 370 - Business Law I Hours: 3
HCA 200 - Health Systems of the United States Hours: 3
HCA 300 - Health Law and Ethics Hours: 3
HCA 305 - Health Data and Analytics Hours: 3
HCA 400 - Healthcare Service Operations Hours: 3
HES 452G - Global Health & Ethics Hours: 3
Choose one of the following statistics courses:
MAT 116 - Introduction to Statistics Hours: 4 or
MAT 215 - Applied Statistics Hours: 4 or
BUS 346 - Business Statistics Hours: 3
