Students can cultivate creative talents and technology skills with a minor in Communication Studies. Coursework develops proficiency in broadcasting, writing, speaking, production, design and editing and group communication. This minor opens opportunities in media, public relations, business, non-profit, social media, education and government. A minor in Communication Studies requires 18 hours consisting of the following:
