Fields of Study and Limitations on Double Majors and Minors

The Academic Regulations section of the Lenoir-Rhyne Undergraduate Catalog states that students may not double major or add a minor in the same field as their primary major. The undergraduate majors and minors offered within the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics are each classified under their fields of study as listed below, unless otherwise stated in the program’s major or minor descriptions. This means that, for example, a student may not double-major in Biology and Medical Studies, as both are in the same field of study.
