CHS 572 - Women in Ministry This course provides an examination of the historical and theological roles of women throughout the church’s history. The class will examine ways in which the western Christian tradition has both shaped the lives and experiences of women and how the church in turn has been shaped by them. Students will pay particular attention to ways in which this history continues to have implications for women in ministry today. This course satisfies the requirement of The United Methodist Church for students preparing for ordained ministry and also as a Church in Context elective.
