WRI 501 - Rhetorical Theory and Research in Writing

Students will identify rhetorical theories from the ancient to the modern era, explain the progression and influences of rhetorical thought, apply rhetorical theory to various genres of written discourse, and conduct independent research using appropriate sources to support arguments.
