DNP 510 - Advanced Concepts of Clinical Nursing (Adult/Primary) Pre-requisite: DNP 500 , DNP 505 , DNP 515 , DNP 600 The role of the family nurse practitioner is implemented through the evidence-based management of health/ illness status of adult patients and their families in primary care settings. Content builds on previously acquired knowledge and skills of advanced health/physical assessment, advanced physiology and pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, and the domains and competencies unique to the family nurse practitioner. The practicum experience is preceptor directed. (4 Class, 2 Practicum, 120 hours)
