SUS 572 - Communicating Science


Communicating Science addresses the need to develop meaningful, impactful, accurate scientific media that educates and activates humanity. The course explores the various pathways that scientific information travels from the bench to the public arena and the pitfalls along the way. A variety of topics related to sustainability are covered as students learn to critically evaluate and present scientific information. The course explores how non-traditional means of science communication can increase humanity’s engagement with the information it needs to address global problems in sustainability.
