COU 572 - Counseling Children and Parents

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the counseling techniques useful in work with pre-adolescent children and their parents. Students will learn the fundamental principles needed to intervene with children within the family context. Special emphasis will be placed on the use of play therapy techniques.
