EDU 447 - Student Teaching for Elementary Education (K-6)


Prerequisite(s): Formal admission to the Teacher Education program/School of Education required. Successfully passed all prior EDU courses with B- or better. 
The purpose of student teaching is for students to practice and demonstrate their capacity relative to the North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards. Students complete sixteen weeks of reflection on full-time observation, assisting in instruction, and teaching in an elementary school setting.  When Offered: Fall, Spring. Fee $100 course fee
