EDU 401 - edTPA Concepts and Support I


Prerequisite(s): Formal admission to the School of Education
The purpose of this course is to utilize local scoring and feedback and support strategies to prepare teacher candidates for the national edTPA Pedagogical Exam required for teacher licensure. Emphasis is placed on analyses of pedagogical tasks and results in the composition of explanatory written commentaries with theoretical justification. Elementary Education majors must receive an overall rating of proficient on all 15 edTPA Local Scoring Rubrics. When Offered: Fall Fee $100
