EDU 304 - Using the Arts, Literature, and Social Sciences to Integrate the Curriculum

Prerequisite(s): Formal admission to the School of Education is required.
Focuses on the design and delivery of standards-based integrated curriculum centered on the knowledge and skills from history and the social sciences. Culturally diverse children’s literature, from the past and present, will facilitate this process. Includes integration of fine arts and examines the central role of the arts in learning. Students learn to develop interdisciplinary lessons based on the North Carolina Standards. When Offered: Spring.
