MUS 217 - Music Technology

This course introduces current technologies used to create, prepare, perform, and distribute music and audio. Topics include audio theory, recording systems, MIDI and sound synthesis, live performance systems, methods of music production and mastering, and digital distribution of music. Students will engage in hands-on, project-oriented practice to build skills applicable to a range of careers in the field of music. When Offered: Even Spring.
