ENG 308 - Literary Studies: Topical Subtitles


Prerequisite(s) or Co-requisite(s): ENG 131  , WRD 102  , or HON 102  .

Course readings will be focused on a thematic study, author, literary period, or genre. Students will develop, through instruction and  practice, skills related to literary analysis, including close reading of texts; gathering and application of relevant contextual material (cultural, literary, and historical contexts); and writing arguments about texts.  When Offered: Spring. May be Repeated May be repeated for credit under different topics.
