COM 367 - Podcasting

In 1999, Ira Glass (co-creator of This American Life) wrote a Zine that pondered how we “make radio that’s actually good.” This class has you explore and experience how you can make audio stories that are actually good. Podcasting familiarizes students with audio productions that take place within a studio environment, developing students’ understanding of audio production alongside the theories of sound. More specifically, the course develops students’ abilities to plan, capture, edit, and share audio stories. When Offered: Even Spring.
