Mediated communication affects virtually every facet of citizens’ lives. This course is designed to introduce you to the many worlds and media of mass communication via a survey of its history, forms, practices, and influences. Students could take this course as an elective with outlying interest in the social sciences, education, or more importantly, it can be a foundation of your future as a communicator.
