AST 110 - Concepts of Astronomy

An introduction to the science of astronomy, including study of the solar system stellar types, populations and stellar evolution, galaxies, and cosmology. Laboratory exercises will be concerned with positions and motions of celestial objects. One or two evening observation sessions will be required. When Offered: Fall, Spring Fee $25
