NUR 255 - Competencies for Health Assessment


Prerequisite(s): BIO 281  with grade of C-/1.7 or better. Student must meet nursing GPA requirements.
Co-requisite(s): BIO 282  with grade of C-/1.7 or better. 
 Building on previous knowledge, this course focuses on the development of competencies associated with assessment of health status and health promotion for individuals, aggregates, and populations as it relates to individual health. This course has a lab component to it to promote the application of concepts learned in this course and to develop professional nursing competencies related to the domains of knowledge for nursing practice, person-centered care, population health, and professionalism.  When Offered: Spring, Summer.
