WRD 101 - Writing, Rhetoric, & Digital Communication I: Reading & Research
This course develops students’ writing, speaking, and digital communication skills. It provides focused instruction in critical reading, comprehension, and analysis using a range of print, oral, and digital texts. It also emphasizes information literacy and research. To practice these skills, students create a range of written, oral, and digital pieces throughout the semester. A final project lets students demonstrate their ability to explore and explain a topic using evidence. This topical course features real-world problem-solving and equity-based grading. When Offered: Fall, Spring.
