PSY 332 - Psychological Disorders



Prerequisite(s): PSY 100 .
 Introduction to the study of disorders of mental, emotional, and behavioral functioning as currently understood within the discipline of psychology. Emphasis is placed upon the history of understanding of mental illnesses and the various perspectives that explain their causes and treatment. Students will have a basic understanding of current clinical research and diagnostic methodology. Students will have the opportunity for in-depth research into specific topics within the field.
