EDU 600 - Learning Environment

This course will explore the diverse student population in K-12 education to gain a better understanding of the relationship between equity and student achievement in U.S. It will also include strategies for classroom management based on diverse student needs, with a focus on Positive Behavior Supports. Students will create, behavior management plans, lessons and units based on diverse student population assets and blended learning theories. Course will require field experience to demonstrate ability to apply learning theories and strategies.
