EDU 515 - Family, School, and Community

Understanding systems theory to access formal and informal resources for diverse families of children. Emphasis is placed on systems of health care, child care, before and after school, nuclear and extended families and service coordination. Collaborative models promote a respect for diversity of culture, religion, socio- economic status, and language and the practical implications for establishing supportive and responsive partnerships.
