COU 565 - Marital Therapy

Marital therapy is a course about couples and the unique characteristics of this relationship. The course provides an overview of current models of couples therapy and emphasizes counseling techniques. The course explores recognized areas of conflict in marriage and requires students to utilize research information for professional judgments related to treatment modalities. A graduate seminar format will be utilized.
