LED 527 - Strategic Leadership and Communication

An overview of collaborative strategic planning and communication in organizations. Students will learn how to develop strategic plans and generate effective leadership decisions that draw on multiple sources of data and account for the leader’s context. Special attention is given to strategic communication concepts and best practice which apply to the tasks of leadership such as communicating vision, intercepting entropy, handling negotiations, and other challenges of strategic leadership.
