HCS 304 - Introduction to Social Work in Human Service Agencies


Prerequisite(s): SOC 100 .
An overview of social work as a cause, a function, and a profession. Topics of study include the philosophy, values, and history of social work, the relationship to social welfare, the process and methods of practice, and evaluation and professionalism. When Offered: Fall, Spring Cross-listed Cross-listed with Sociology 304.
